About Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology
Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology NIRF ranking 2023 has been placed at 16th Among All Public & Private Universities in India. KIIT also ranked at first by the Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements, for the second time continuously.
Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology is a university of recognition that aims to impart quality, value-based education of international standards to its students. With 23 unique campuses and 1,800 faculty and researchers, the university has bagged several awards, ranks and recognition. It has been ranked eighth among India's most reputed private universities and has been accredited as an A Grade by NAAC. It is the first and youngest university to gain the “deemed-to-be-university” title. With this title, the institution has taken the responsibility to offer students the best courses in different fields of Science & Technology, Management, Law, Fashion Designing and Medical Sciences.
The KIIT admissions for BA LLB, BBA LLB, and BSc LLB are open. The KIIT University achieved the 16th position according to the NIRF India Rankings 2023 for all the Public & Private Universities in India Improving from its 20th position last year, the different schools of KIIT-DU performed well in the NIRF Rankings. It is also positioned as 1st among the private higher education Indian universities by MHRD.

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Campus Facilities and Infrastructure
The Institute has magnificently designed separate hostels for boys and girls, each with all modern facilities for boarding and other recreational activities. The hostels have their own mess to provide good and hygienic food to the students. Well furnished and spacious rooms equipped with a bed, a study table, study chair, and wardrobe.

Library
Central Library acts as the main learning resource centre of the university. The library has, over the years, built a robust collection of over 1,018,434 books, 16,806 bound volumes, 665 current subscriptions to printed journals, magazines, newspapers, and many other resources like student project reports, CDs (2813), videos (555) and etc.
Transportation
KIIT has its own fleet of buses to cater to the transportation needs of its students, staff members and visiting guests. These buses serve as the link between the campus and the city.
Cafeteria & Canteen
The Canteen at KIIT serves delicious multi-cuisine food. The menu includes Odia, South Indian, Chinese and Continental dishes. The cafeteria inside the campus serves soft and hot drinks, snacks and ice creams.
Food Court
15 Food Courts specialising in cuisines from different parts of the world. They serve a wide selection of national and international dishes. These food courts are in addition to 20 canteens attached to as many hostels.
Auditorium
KIIT provides an excellent ambience for national and international level conferences and seminars. Its Central Convention Centre Complex houses a world-class Auditorium having a seating capacity of 1600, besides a Guest House with 5-star facilities (42 suits), Conference Halls (18 Nos.), and an Exhibition Ground (five acres) and a Banquet Hall. It is the largest of its type in the state of Odisha and one of the best in Eastern India.
